How much to charge for mobile detailing

The calculator adds up what one job costs you: labor, driving, supplies and that job's share of your monthly overhead. It puts your target profit on top and rounds the result up to the next $5.

With the example numbers, a 4.5 hour job costs $183.67. Add $80 of profit and the price is $263.67, so the calculator says to charge about $265.

A target in percent is a share of the price, not a markup on your cost. At 30%, a job that costs $140 comes out at $200, and $60 of that is profit.
